Jessica Goodman Lee, CVPM

Jessica joined Brakke Consulting, Inc. in February 2011.  Originally from Boston, Jessica graduated magna cum laude from Carleton College in Minnesota with a B.A. in studio art in 1989.  After several years of pursuing a variety of interests, including five years as a licensed paralegal, she found herself at a crossroads, and decided that adopting a dog (or two) was just what she needed, although her cat wasn't exactly thrilled.  According to Jessica, good fortune was on her side, because after many trips to the veterinarian he offered her a job, and the rest is history!

Since discovering what she loves to do, Jessica has managed and consulted with practices in Minnesota, North Carolina and Texas before joining the Brakke team.  She believes strongly that a practice's success is ultimately rooted in the ability of its team members to welcome and embrace change.  Her creative approach to client education tools, branding, process streamlining, and superior client service and veterinary care have resulted in great success for those with whom she has worked.  An avid researcher and reader, she trains hospital management teams to take responsibility for staying abreast of medical and pharmaceutical innovations as well as industry standards of care.

Jessica is a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager and an active member of both the Veterinary  Hospital Managers Association and VetPartners, where she currently serves as the chair of the membership committee.  She is a regular contributor to multiple industry publications, speaks nationally on conducts workshops on a wide variety of management topics.  Currently Jessica resides in Coppell, Texas with her companions Mei Mei (above),  Anjeline, a 13 year old Italian Greyhound, and Luigi, a 3 year old poodle.
